Early life of Udit Narayan:
This amazing singer was born in the year 1955 on 1st December. He belongs to the Supaul district of Bihar. His SSC was completed from Jageshwari High School situated in Bihar. From Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus situated in Kathmandu, he got his intermediate degree. Then for studying classical music on scholarship, he shifted to Mumbai and started studying at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Pandit Dinkar Kakini was his guide and mentor there.
The name of his father is Harekrishna Jha who was a Nepali. He was a farmer by profession. And mother was Bhuvaneshwari Jha who was an Indian. She used to sing folk songs and used to encourage his son in singing. Ranjana Narayan Jha was his first wife. In the year 1985, he married Deepa Narayan. They have a son together whose name is Aditya Narayan. Their son is also a singer and a popular host of musical shows.
In the year 1970, he put his first step in his musical journey by singing Nepali and Maithili songs for the Kathmandu Radio. In the year 1980, he began his career in Bollywood with his debut song ‘MIL GAYA MIL GAYA’. The movie QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK was a turning point in his career in which he sang all the songs in the year 1988. He has sung many songs in his life and won the hearts of people.
